Sunil Gavaskar urges India to "just play your game" as they lead Australia to a massive score in the World Cup final.

Everything is prepared for Sunday, November 19, when Australia and India square off in the final of the current ODI World Cup 2023 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The Men in Blue will enter the match riding a winning streak; they haven’t dropped a match thus far in the World Cup 2023, and they intend to keep it going. Numerous analysts took to the platform prior to the match to share their opinions on the match. Sunil Gavaskar, a former Indian batter, also entered the battle. The renowned former batter expressed the opinion that Team India should not try to do anything innovative and should instead adhere to their game plan.

In addition, Sunil Gavaskar said that Rohit and Shubman Gill, the team’s openers, should continue to play according to their original strategy. If they can give the team a strong start, a large score could very well be possible in the final.

Simply play your game, keep an eye on the ball, and focus on the one after that. Given India’s current batting form, a 300-plus total is possible if they get off to a strong start. Sunil Gavaskar stated at the pre-match show on Star Sports, “I know this is a big ground; hitting sixes won’t be easy but as we’ve seen before, it is difficult to stop this Indian batting unit if they are off to a great start.”

India aims to score heavily, as Australia fields first.

In reference to the World Cup semifinal match, India’s performance was lacking, as they lost the toss. Australian captain Pat Cummins made the decision to bowl first, giving the Men in Blue the chance to score a large amount of runs.

India, who haven’t lost in the competition, will need to drive them to a large first-inning total and maybe win the championship.
