The India squad is currently leading the ODI World Cup 2023 after some outstanding cricket performances. They have won ten straight games and have secured their spot in the championship game, which will take place on Sunday, November 19, at the massive Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

The ‘Men in Blue’ made a hero’s welcome at the ITC Narmada Hotel in Ahmedabad after defeating New Zealand by 70 runs in their semi-final match at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium on Wednesday, November 15.

As the players passed into the foyer, hotel employees presented them with a guard of honor. The Indian athletes grinned as they saw flags from their country being waved. As Rohit Sharma’s team is about to make history, the country is dreaming once more.

On November 19, in front of over a lakh spectators at the Narendra Modi Stadium, India will play Australia in the grand final. After defeating South Africa by three wickets in the second semifinal on Thursday at Kolkata’s famed Eden Gardens, the “Men in Yellow” advanced to the top match.

The match between Australia and India will be a rematch of the World Cup final from 2003.

At Johannesburg, Ricky Ponting’s guys had destroyed Sourav Ganguly and Co. After a few decades, Indian supporters will have the opportunity to defeat the formidable Australians. The tourists aim to win a sixth ODI World Cup, which would break all previous records. On the other hand, India may become just the second team, after Australia, to win the coveted championship three times.

Earlier in the tournament, at the round-robin stage in Chennai, Australia and India faced off. After chasing down a 200-run mark in the 42nd over thanks to half-centuries from KL Rahul and Virat Kohli, the home team overcame Australia by six wickets.
