In the 2017 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup, Rahul Dravid has hinted that India won’t be making any changes when they play the Netherlands in their last league stage match. On Sunday, November 12, the match will take place in Bengaluru’s M Chinnaswamy Stadium.

After their penultimate match, Rahul Dravid said that the Indian squad had had adequate rest and that all of the players were fit. He made an oblique hint that India would use the same starting lineup from the previous match.

We’ve had six days off since the last game, really. We’ve slept fairly well, then. The boys are in good shape going into our final game before the semifinals.

Without giving too much away, that’s all I’ll say,” Rahul Dravid was cited by ESPN cricinfo.

In order to prepare him for the potential necessity of playing in the knockout round, Dravid was questioned about whether a player such as Prasidh Krishna might be able to participate in the next game. The 50-year-old claimed that management would select the best playing XI who would be physically and mentally prepared to play in a crucial game.

At this point, the main goal is to have the players you believe will be in the starting eleven in the best possible physical and mental shape so they can play in the semifinal and, if we win, the championship game. Thus, that will be the singular focus of thought. I think there are occasions when thinking big picture is appropriate and times when thinking narrowly focused is appropriate. If everyone is fit, I think it’s time for narrow focus thinking right now,” he continued.

India has won all eight of their games so far in the 2017 ODI World Cup under Rohit Sharma’s leadership, making this a memorable tournament. The Men in Blue defeated Sri Lanka by a commanding 302 runs at Mumbai’s famed Wankhede Stadium to become the first team to advance to the semifinals of the major event.
