Abu Dhabi, November 6, 2023: The fastest cricket competition, the Abu Dhabi T10, is scheduled to return for an exciting 7th edition on November 28. Fans of cricket will be in for a treat this time around as the defending champion Deccan Gladiators square off against the New York Strikers, last season’s runners-up, in the opening match of the competition.
After an exciting climax, Deccan Gladiators emerged victorious from the competition last season, and they have assembled a formidable team for this season with the intention of holding onto the crown. To maintain the momentum, the Strikers, who made their debut in the previous season, will try to start well as well.
In the 12-day competition, players from the Deccan Gladiators, New York Strikers, Northern Warriors, Morrisville Samp Army, Delhi Bulls, Team Abu Dhabi, and Chennai Braves will battle for the coveted Abu Dhabi T10 trophy.
There will be four home games for four teams and three home games for the other four teams. Over the league, each team will have three days off. The four teams at the top of the round robin will advance to the playoffs.
On December 8, the top two teams will compete in the first Qualifier 1, while the third and fourth-place teams will compete in the Eliminator match. On the same day, the winners of both games will participate in Qualifier 2. The exciting Grand Final is scheduled for Saturday, December 9.
Shaji Ul Mulk, Chairman of T10 Sports Management, made the following statement regarding the 2023 Abu Dhabi T10 season: “I am confident that the upcoming Abu Dhabi T10 season will be enormous, as all eight teams have strengthened their squads, and it can be anyone’s game at this point.” It promises to be an exciting thriller full of surprises and excitement for all game enthusiasts, with some of the top players in the world scheduled to demonstrate their prowess.
