Five-time winners Australia (AUS) and defending champions England (ENG) square off in the 36th match of the 2023 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup on November 4 (Saturday) at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. England is currently wallowing at the bottom of the chart with just one win, while Australia is currently ranked third in the points table.

Australia has become victorious in this competition after four straight victories. Pat Cummins‘ team last defeated the 2019 finalists, New Zealand. Australia batted first and amassed a massive 388 in a thrilling match in Dharamsala. After that, the Kangaroos shut out the Kiwis by 383 to win the match by five runs.

Conversely, England’s campaign has been forgettable as they have lost five of their six games in the current tournament. Their lone victory came against Bangladesh, headed by Shakib Al Hasan. At the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow, Jos Buttler and company lost by an overwhelming 100 runs to the hosts, India, in their last meeting.

There is no chance of rain during Australia’s ODI World Cup match against England.

The game is set to start at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad at 2:00 p.m. (IST). AccuWeather reports that the weather is predicted to be clear, with daytime highs of about 35 degrees Celsius and nighttime lows of 21 degrees Celsius.

The 0% chance of precipitation indicates that there is no risk of precipitation in Ahmedabad. As a result, there won’t be any breaks while the viewers watch both innings of the game.
