Reports: Following the 2023 ODI World Cup, VVS Laxman is expected to coach India against Australia.

“When Rahul has taken a break, VVS Laxman has always been in charge, and same thing is likely to continue for the series right after the World Cup.

Taking over as manager of the National Cricket Academy (NCA) and occasionally even managing the senior squad in Rahul Dravid’s absence, VVS Laxman is continuing his legacy. VVS Laxman assumed leadership of the Indian team recently. In addition to leading the Men in Blue to the gold medal in the Asian Games 2023, he served as head coach for the three-match T20I series against Ireland. So, as time goes on, it will be interesting to watch how things work out for Indian squad and whether or not Laxman has to take charge during their five-match series against Australia.

In the 2023 ODI World Cup, India hopes to carry on their winning streak.

Regarding the Indian squad, they are presently participating in the 2023 ODI World Cup as the Men in Blue. Thus far in the tournament, the team has played five games and is undefeated. The Indian squad won the international championship, showing class by defeating teams like Australia, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, and New Zealand. With a commanding lead in the ODI World Cup points standings, team India’s performances have gained significant attention and established them as the clear favorites to win the tournament.
