During England‘s ODI World Cup match versus South Africa at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium, star batter Joe Root revealed some surprising insights. Speaking of the match, England was blasted for 399 runs before being dismissed for 170 in just 22 overs. They were humiliated by a 229-run loss, which was by far their heaviest ODI loss in terms of margin.
The players from South Africa and England had to contend with extreme heat and humidity during the game, according to Joe Root.
