Reece Topley

Reece Topley, one of England’s top pace bowlers, was spotted hobbling off the field in the 13th game of the 2023 ODI World Cup in Delhi after taking a knock to his knee while fielding. This will leave England supporters inconsolable.

England‘s World Cup run got off to a devastating nine-wicket loss against New Zealand. Tall left-arm bowler Topley was substituted for Moeen Ali in their second match against Bangladesh, and it was a brilliant choice. In the match, which the defending champions won by 137 runs, Topley took four wickets.

Rahmanullah Gurbaz destroyed the England bowlers in the current Afghanistan match being played in Delhi, but Reece Topley wasn’t as simple to hit away.

He injured his knee when diving to stop a boundary in the 16th over, raising questions about his current state of health. Topley grabbed his right knee after standing up and motioned for the physio to examine it right away. He soon emerged from the ground with a limp while the physio walked next to him.
