World Cup 2023 ODI between India and Pakistan: Shot of the Day: Rohit pulls Shaheen over backward square leg in signature style.

India and Pakistan squared off in game 13 of the ODI World Cup 2023 on Saturday, October 14 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The game included numerous moments that left the spectators in awe.

Similar to the last example, one of the game’s best moments occurred during the run chase in the seventh over, when Rohit Sharma, the captain, played the shot of the day in spectacular style.

When Shaheen Afridi bowled a shoulder-high delivery to the Indian captain to start the seventh over, Rohit, who was batting against the legendary Pakistani pacer, struck a magnificent pull shot around a deep backward square leg.

Since Rohit is known for his pull shot and used it to get the game’s opening six against Shaheen Afridi, one of the best bowlers in the world of cricket, the film of the shot soon went viral on social media. Notably, Rohit has been in excellent form lately, and his performance against Pakistan demonstrated his talent and fortitude in leading the team.

India and Pakistan are motivated to keep winning.

Speaking of India and Pakistan’s performances in the ODI World Cup 2023, it’s interesting to note that both teams have played in two games so far and are both undefeated.

In the two games that they have played so far, India has competed against Australia and Afghanistan, and they have won both contests. However, Pakistan has already faced off against the Netherlands and Sri Lanka, and the team has excelled in both contests, winning both.

It would be intriguing to observe which team, between India and Pakistan, suffers their first loss of the competition as both teams take center stage in Ahmedabad.
