The Pakistani cricket team was given a lavish and heartfelt welcome at the team hotel, which is located on Ashram Road in the western side of the city, upon their arrival in Ahmedabad. The team’s bus was able to travel safely from the airport to the hotel thanks to the roads being cleared, and a full police convoy provided security and assistance the entire way.
The Pakistan squad is the only guests at the hotel, which has been reserved:
It is noteworthy that the entire hotel has been designated solely for the Pakistani squad, demonstrating the strict privacy and security procedures implemented to protect the visiting players. Traditional dances and aerial showers of yellow balloons set the tone for the team’s stay in Ahmedabad as they welcomed them.
The players were given khadi shawls as part of the welcome ritual, which gave the event a traditional feel. The event was adorned by local dancers who performed in traditional garb, and the festive mood was enhanced by the sound of the dhol. The Narendra Modi venue in Motera, known as the largest cricket venue in the world, will host Pakistan’s practice sessions soon.
