Gill’s, the squad’s batsman, won’t be going to Delhi with the team on October 9, 2023. The team’s opening batter, who missed the team’s first game against Australia in Chennai as part of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023, is expected to miss the team’s upcoming game against Afghanistan in Delhi on October 11.
