MS Dhoni the legendary captain of India, gained new attention after being sighted with a new haircut. Despite the 42-year-old’s lack of social media activity, his new hairstyle has drawn a lot of attention.
A famous hairstylist named Aalim Hakim released pictures of MS Dhoni hairdo. According to the stylist, the talented wicketkeeper-batter created this new hairstyle for a commercial photo session.
Hakim shared the pictures and the intriguing tale behind the cricketer’s new hairstyle. He asserted that MS Dhoni had revealed to him a self-portrait that was a fan-made depiction of him with long hair. When Dhoni’s hair grows back long, they allegedly agreed to trim and style it together.

Aalim Hakim added that he was appreciative of the chance to work with MS Dhoni and praised the player for being willing to try out different haircuts.
Hakim wrote on Instagram, “It’s a fantastic opportunity for any creative person to be associated with Mahendra Singh Dhoni and I’m always grateful that I get this honor to demonstrate my craft by styling his hair.”
Earlier this week, MS Dhoni was spotted with a ponytail.
In a recent video that went viral on social media, the 42-year-old was seen with a ponytail. The star cricketer’s appearance in the 2024 Indian Premier League (IPL) season with the same hairstyle that first made him famous had been a subject of fan speculation. Notably, he’s improved over the years not only with his explosive batting or his agility behind the stumps, but also by occasionally sporting new hairdos.
When he initially represented Team India in international cricket, MS Dhoni, also known as “Captain Cool,” had long hair. He changed his haircut in 2011 after winning the ICC Cricket World Cup for the second time and the first ICC T20 World Cup, respectively.
