In the video, Ferguson was seen performing a well-known line from the renowned 2001 Bollywood sports drama “Lagaan,” in which none other than Aamir Khan starred. The 32-year-old could initially be seen straining to understand the foreign language in the humorous clip shared by the ICC on their Instagram account. In spite of this, he continued and said, “Teen guna Lagaan dena padega” (which translates to, “Three times the tax has to be paid”) with flawless elegance, leaving the crowd and his fellow players in awe.
Ferguson answered in jest, “Still fixing my hair,” demonstrating his signature humor, to the ICC’s title, “Lockie Ferguson X The movie Lagaan,” which is typical of the ICC’s humour.
