Andrew Flintoff, an inspirational all-rounder, was spotted in England‘s locker room during their recent matches against New Zealand and Ireland.
The 45-year-old experienced a terrible accident in December while filming an episode of Top Gear that nearly claimed his life. As part of his rehabilitation, he is currently serving as the England team’s unpaid assistant coach. The great former cricketer’s presence in the locker room has reportedly been very beneficial to the World Cup-bound players, and his stay has been extended into the current series against Ireland.
Marcus Trescothick, an assistant coach for England who played for the national team alongside Andrew Flintoff for many years, claimed that the Preston native enjoys picking on him in jokes and that he has had a beneficial influence on the players currently on the roster.
