In preparation for India's first-ever MotoGP race, world champion Francesco Bagnaia plays some cricket.

As it gets ready to host the MotoGP Grand Prix at the Buddh International Circuit in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India is buzzing with anticipation.

The “MotoGP Bharat Grand Prix,” a historic occasion, is scheduled to begin on September 22 and conclude on September 24. The Buddh International Circuit has undergone improvements to fulfil the demanding requirements of MotoGP racing while strengthening safety measures. The circuit was initially built in 2011 to host Formula One races.

With high speeds over 300 km/h (186 mph), the track, which is almost five km in length, is one of the fastest on the MotoGP schedule. Fans are getting ready to watch some of the most thrilling riders in the world compete for championship honours, including Ducati’s Francesco Bagnaia. One can feel the intense excitement in the air.

The Italian racing sensation, who has been to India for this amazing event, was recently photographed with a cricket bat in preparation for the main event and the future Cricket World Cup 2023, which will be held in India. The official ‘X’ account for Ducati Corse posted a humorous image of Bagnaia having fun playing cricket.

Let’s just say @PeccoBagnaia isn’t a big fan of cricket! But there’s no doubt that he enjoyed himself. I appreciate it, @MotoGPBharat! Its caption read, “#IndianGP #ForzaDucati #DucatiLenovoTeam.”

Let’s say cricket isn’t really @PeccoBagnaia’s cup of tea! 😂 But, for sure, he had some fun there. Thanks for it, @MotoGPBharat! #IndianGP#ForzaDucati #DucatiLenovoTeam pic.twitter.com/QWCgeC4QcF

Former cricketer Suresh Raina mingling with MotoGP champions

As wickets were put up on the famous Indian track of Buddh, which is located on the outskirts of New Delhi, Bagnaia tried his hand at bowling a few deliveries and then tried his hand at using the cricket bat.

While Suresh Raina, a former cricket champion, enjoyed an amazing trip around the circuit, MotoGP superstar Marc Marquez set off on a remarkable journey in a sidecar. The fans were undoubtedly in awe after this cannot-miss spectacle.
