We are always prepared for important games and will give India everything we have: Babar Azam

The current Asia Cup is already under way, and with the Super Four stages of the competition finally starting, the four teams will be eager to provide their best efforts in order to go further in the competition and possibly claim the sought-after trophy. Pakistan, coached by Babar Azam, was the first team to enter the Super Four stage. In the seventh match of the competition, the team faced Bangladesh and won handily. First-innings batsmen Bangladesh were quickly out for a pitiful score of 193 runs, which Babar Azam Pakistan easily chased down.

In addition, Pakistan‘s next task after defeating Bangladesh is a taxing match against team India. The third match of the competition pitted both teams against one another, although it was ultimately called off due to rain. On Sunday, September 10, they will face off against one another one more in an effort to make amends.

Babar Azam, the captain of Pakistan, took center stage ahead of the much anticipated match against India and stated that the team didn’t feel under pressure to face India because their victory against Bangladesh had given them a lot of confidence.

“No, not at all (is there pressure before the big game?) This victory will boost our morale because we are always prepared for important games. In the upcoming game, we’ll give it everything we’ve got, according to Babar Azam, who was quoted by India Today.

Yes, all the boys deserve credit. Babar Azam

Azam also thought back on his team’s performance against Bangladesh, which contributed to their commanding victory. The 28-year-old gave his bowling attack high plaudits for keeping Bangladesh’s score low and ultimately assisting in their victory.

“Yeah, the credit belongs to all the boys, particularly the fast bowlers because of the way they bowled in the first 10 overs. Rauf was particularly impressive. I spotted the grass on the ground and considered using the extra seamer because Faheem Ashraf bowled so brilliantly,” Babar added.
