Suryakumar Yadav may not be quite certain in his mind and heart how to score runs from the 25th to the 40th over: Sanjay Bangar

An insightful analysis of Suryakumar Yadav performance in ODI cricket was provided by former Indian cricketer Sanjay Bangar in an exclusive conversation with Star Sports on Follow the Blues LIVE. These revelations illuminate the complexities and factors that influence India’s cricketing plans as they get ready for these pivotal matches.

Bangar focused on the difficulties of getting boundaries in the middle overs and talked about how Suryakumar Yadav must change his approach during this crucial part of the innings.

Suryakumar Yadav has previously stated that Rahul Dravid is present and has spoken to him, according to Sanjay Bangar, who discussed what Suryakumar Yadav needs to do to better his ODI cricket performances. The main contributing element is that boundaries are harder to come by in the middle of an inning. How to locate the boundaries becomes a major issue when three or four wickets are lost because the ball ages. The ball in a T20 game stays solid the entire innings. In ODIs, the ball gets softer in the final five overs for each team, making it harder to get boundaries. The second point is that every batsman must discover the secret to scoring runs.

Additionally, Suryakumar Yadav is a talented player who knows exactly where to strike boundaries. He knows just where to hit them, but if there is one thing he needs to learn, it’s how to bat from the 25th to the 40th over. He may not be certain how to score runs during this time period in his mind and emotions, in my opinion. He can play like he does in T20, but if wickets fall, he needs to figure out how to rotate strike between the 25th and 40th overs. He also needs to come up with his own strategy for scoring runs here, which he is undoubtedly considering.

He also discussed Suryakumar Yadav’s presence in the starting lineup for upcoming competitions like the Asia Cup and the World Cup, highlighting the significance of preserving a balanced and potent lineup.

Regarding whether Suryakumar Yadav is included in the starting lineup for the Asai Cup and World Cup lineups, Sanjay Bangar said, “According to me, if the team has an opening where he can play, he absolutely should. However, I don’t believe the team needs to go through all of that just to start him in the first eleven and give him game time.

I believe Rohit and Rahul (Dravid) will have similar thoughts. They should play the majority of the time if they only use batsmen who fit into the right combinations and the final starting eleven. And the guys in the starting eleven are all excellent athletes who, given the chance, come in and immediately have an impact on the game. There are numerous resources that can assist them, regardless of the preparation they have in the nets. As a result, they can now get ready, train, and keep up the momentum. However, this is not the time to experiment, play a player only to obtain game time, or change the lineup just for that.
