James Anderson and Stuart Broad quick bowling combination gave many elite batters sleepless nights, and cricket fans marveled at their ability to dismantle batting combinations. Stuart Broad believed that Anderson, a 41-year-old veteran of the England team, will soon surpass the milestone of 700 Test wickets for his career. Currently, the Burnley native has 690 wickets.
He still needs to take some wickets. I am aware that he has the wonderful club of 700 Test match wickets, which he sees as the carrot that is dangling in front of him. We all hope he can, Broad stated in an interview with Sky Sports.
According to Broad, Anderson is in good physical shape and has the drive to continue competing at the highest level. Recently, the two buddies collaborated on a few commentary gigs, and Broad hoped that perhaps they could reconvene in the commentary booth after Anderson’s retirement.
He’s 41 years old and still doing really well. He’s still in excellent physical shape. He’s still having a great time with it and is quite eager to keep going. We collaborated on a handful of commentary stints and had a great time. Hopefully, that will serve as a foreshadowing of things to come in the future, Broad said.

For the first time since 2012, Anderson will be attempting to harness his knowledge to lead England to a series victory in India. Anderson has taken 34 wickets in 13 Test matches in India, with an average of 29.32 and a strike rate of 66.2.
