One of my favourite bowlers to watch in the entire globe is Shaheen Afridi: Stuart Broad

At the conclusion of the fifth Ashes Test at London’s Kennington Oval, Stuart Broad announced his retirement from cricket. After finishing the project, Broad joined the commentary crew for the Hundred, where he has been doing a fantastic job of enlightening the cricket fans with his sage advice.

In an interview with Pakistani bowler Shaheen Afridi, the right-arm pacer, who has throughout the years played a crucial role for Nottinghamshire Outlaws, showed his appreciation for Shaheen Afridi. Shaheen participated in the T20 Blast earlier this year on behalf of the Outlaws, which is noteworthy to note.

Stuart Broad was extremely complimentary of the left-arm seamer, who played for Welsh Fire before making his Hundred debut.

Shaheen is one of his favourite bowlers and a someone with “natural skill,” according to the former England bowler.

“Shaheen Shah Afridi is one of my all-time favourites bowlers to watch. Broad was cited as stating to Sky Sports, “I love bowlers go in with enthusiasm and vibrancy to their build up. He has such a fantastic presence about him when he runs in.

It’s very enjoyable to watch the way the ball swings back into the right-handers because he has such a natural skill. He also played this summer for the Notts Outlaws, a team that holds a special place in my heart. I want to see him succeed because he is one of the bowlers I most admire.

The Hundred’s outstanding debut by Shaheen Afridi

Against Manchester Originals in the second game of the eight-team event, the gifted Shaheen Afridi got off to a fantastic start in the Hundred, taking two wickets off his first two balls. The 23-year-old followed it up against the Southern Brave with another spectacular performance, finishing with figures of 1/16 in the 20 balls he bowled.

The Asia Cup, which starts on August 30 and features debutants Nepal, is Shaheen’s upcoming international competition.
