Later this month, Tamim Iqbal will visit Dubai and the United Kingdom to have his back condition evaluated, according to BCB cricket operations chairman Jalal Yunus.
Tamim has been given a six-week vacation to recover from the injury after his retirement-unretirement drama dominated news coverage in Bangladesh over the past few days. Given that he is seeking medical assistance from abroad, his back problem is now considered to be a more significant concern.
Tamim is traveling to Dubai. On July 25 or 26, he will next go to the UK. He has two meetings scheduled in London. From there, he will inform me. Mashrafe Mortaza’s position as a team mentor during the 2023 men’s ODI World Cup is another topic for discussion, according to Yunus, something Tamim reportedly recommended to prime minister Sheikh Hasina at their Friday meeting.
