No one can beat the reputation that MS Dhoni will leave in the IPL: Ravi Shastri

In the final of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023, the Chennai Super Kings beat the Gujarat Titans and changed the course of history. Chennai won their fifth IPL title with a huge win over the defending champions. Even though captain MS Dhoni was out for a golden duck during the run chase, there is no question that the 41-year-old played a big part in the win.

MS Dhoni has been in charge of the team since 2008, when Chennai hired him.

Chennai has now won the IPL five times while he is in charge. There is no doubt that the 41-year-old has had a big effect on the event and will leave a big mark.

Also, former Indian cricketer Ravi Shastri thought the same thing. He claimed that the fact that Dhoni has participated in 250 IPL games and the amount of support he receives from Chennai fans demonstrate his excellent health.

“MS Dhoni ability to play 250 IPL games shows how fit he is. In this event, no one can match the legacy that MS Dhoni will leave behind. Everyone in Chennai and Tamil Nadu calls him Thala. “The fact that CSK fans in the south love and adore a guy from Jharkhand shows how great this cricketer is,” Ravi Shastri told Star Sports.

Five wickets gave Chennai Super Kings the win over Gujarat Titans.

When people talk about the game, they say that Gujarat batted first because they lost the toss. In the first innings, the best players were Shubman Gill, Wriddhiman Saha, and Sai Sudharsan. They all played great games that helped Gujarat get to a huge 214 runs.

Gill got 39 runs off of 20 balls, Saha got 54 runs off of 39 balls, and Sudharsan got 96 runs off of 47 balls. When Chennai came in to try to reach the goal, the DLS target was changed to 171 runs in 15 overs. With the bat, Chennai did a great job of chasing down the goal. They won the game by five wickets and became the first team to win five titles.
