DC assistant coach Ajit Agarkar says that there is a lot of pride at stake and that there are still two points to play for.

The IPL 2023 match between the Delhi Capitals and Punjab Kings is set for Wednesday at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamsala. Ajit Agarkar, the assistant coach for the Delhi Capitals, said before the game, “There’s a lot of pride on the line, and there are still two points to play for. We won’t change how we play, and we’ll try to get as many points as possible.

Ajit Agarkar also said, “In the last game, we lost too many wickets all at once. We started off well, but couldn’t finish the game. We’ll try to get better at this when we bat in our next two games.”

The assistant coach said, “Dharamsala is a great place to play. I hope the batting track is good for our game against the Punjab Kings.” We’re hoping to get a good batting track, which will let the batters play a little more easily.

Agarkar also gave speedy Ishant Sharma high marks for his play this season, saying, “Ishant has been really good around the group. Younger bowlers can learn from how he has behaved and how he has prepared for games. This season, he’s been great for us.”

Note that the Delhi Capitals have already been knocked out of the event. Five days ago, they lost to PBKS by 31 runs and were eliminated. In the return match, on May 17 in Dharamsala, they will face Shikhar Dhawan’s team again. They will be ready to give it their all because they have a lot of pride at stake. DC was no longer in the running for the IPL 2023 playoffs because they lost eight games and only won four of their 12 matches so far.
