Arshdeep Singh

On Monday, May 8, at the Eden Gardens, the Kolkata Knight Riders were the favorites to defeat the Punjab Kings, needing six runs in the last over. As KKR needed two runs to win their fifth game of the IPL 2023 season, star pacer Arshdeep Singh bowled wonderfully to keep the visiting team in the game till the final delivery.

Meanwhile, Rinku Singh hit a superb boundary to help KKR win a nail-biting match as Arshdeep Singh badly misjudged his line and length in the final delivery.

After the event, Arshdeep Singh was seen sobbing, while Rinku was seen having a stylish celebration with his friends. The child has successfully completed the task for his team in the past, but not this time. He was so extremely disappointed and walked away from the scene with teary eyes.
KKR climbs to position 5 in the IPL Points Table.

The two-time winners, who struggled in the first half of the IPL, are back on track following their fantastic five-wicket victory over the Punjab Kings, moving them up to number five in the standings.

The Shikhar Dhawan-led team, on the other hand, had a strong start to the season but is now ranked sixth. Therefore, they will be striving to win all three of their remaining matches in order to maintain themselves in the competition.

There are currently three more teams with ten more points than KKR and PBKS. Mumbai Indians and Bangalore are sixth and eighth, respectively, on the standings, while Rajasthan is in fourth place with the same number of points. The IPL’s last round will undoubtedly be an exciting sight because all four teams are divided by Net Run rate.

Notably, Mumbai will play home to Bangalore on May 9 in the evening, giving both clubs a fantastic opportunity to win and advance to the top four.
