Harry Brook, a batsman for Sunrisers Hyderabad and England, has said that participating in the current Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 has been an incredible experience for him. Hyderabad purchased the 24-year-old at the 2023 auction for INR 13.25 crore. Brook, who recently put in strong performances for England, also got the opening century of the current T20 carnival.
Due to his recent successes for England, he received high bids at the auctions. He commented that he had enjoyed every minute of it while he was doing it and also discussed the traffic conditions in the city.
“I have relished every second of it. Hyderabad is a pretty beautiful region of the world, yet it has a distinct culture. To be honest, it’s anarchy; there are tuk-tuks everywhere, making it difficult to cross the street without just forcing your way through, according to Harry Brook, speaking to ESPNcricinfo.
Harry Brook also mentioned the constant cameras that were watching him while training. It was only natural for Brook to notice that there were cameras following him because fans were eager to see their favorite athletes in action.

“The number of cameras present has definitely captured my attention. You are constantly being recorded on video and photographed. You enter the nets during practice, in particular, and a camera is present. I didn’t come here with any expectations, but I quickly became aware of it,” stated Brook.
Speaking of his form, the 24-year-old hasn’t been playing well at the IPL 2023. In the eight games he has played so far, Brook has only amassed 163 runs. In Hyderabad’s final game against the Delhi Capitals, he was out for a duck.
With six points from eight games, the team is now in ninth place in the IPL points standings. Brook is optimistic that things will improve in the second half of the season. “I wish I had performed a little bit better. I played one excellent inning [against KKR], but other than that, I haven’t really done anything. That has been discouraging, but hopefully in the second half of the competition I can change that,” he said.
