Brett Lee affirms, "He has been in outstanding form." Arjun Tendulkar despite conceding 31 runs in single over against Punjab Kings

Brett Lee, a former Australian fast bowler, opined that the Mumbai Indians (MI) pacer, Arjun Tendulkar, has been in ‘excellent form’ despite conceding too many runs in his previous match. Notably, Arjun finished up on an undesirable record during the match against the Punjab Kings on April 22.

Sam Curran and Harpreet Singh scored 31 runs, including six fours, off the 23-year-old pacer’s over, which included six boundaries. Arjun finished his three-over innings with 48 runs and one wicket.

However, MI’s most recent pace addition excelled in the final overs against SRH, helping to defend 20 runs off the final over while also taking a wicket. Brett Lee praised the juvenile pacer’s performance against SRH, despite the fact that he had conceded 31 runs against PBKS, and he reaffirmed his support for the youngster.

“I believe he can handle all aspects. Regarding Arjun Tendulkar, I have been extremely impressed. I believe that he has been in excellent form for the Mumbai Indians. His new-ball bowling is exceptional; he swings the ball and generates the most rotation for the Mumbai Indians. With experience, he will appreciate bowling in the death overs. He is well-suited for the middle overs. According to the Hindustan Times, Lee was quoted as saying, “I have nothing but praise for him.”

People criticize almost everything. Brett Lee Arjun Tendulkar has also been criticized for his bowling speed, as he has been unable to consistently bowl at over 130 kmph. Lee further advised the youngster not to pay attention to the criticism and to take a page from his father’s career.

“People critique virtually everything. He is only 23 years old and he has the entirety of his career ahead of him. My recommendation is to ignore criticism. You must have confidence in yourself, just as his father had to endure when he missed out and received a low grade. He has got some wonderful abilities,” advised Lee.

Brett also emphasized that Arjun’s speed is not an issue. Experience and playing under pressure will help the young player improve, particularly under the bright lights in front of a large crowd. Overall, Lee desires that Arjun adhere to his strategy, as it will soon bear fruit.

As soon as he becomes accustomed to bowling in a team environment, under bright lights, and in front of a large crowd, his speed will increase to 140 kilometers per hour. I see no problem with his speed. I am aware of how quickly he bowls. He possesses all the necessary skills and qualities,” he continued.

“Therefore, my advice would be to continue doing what you’ve been doing and to ignore those who are attempting to criticize you on social media, as the majority of those who criticize on social media have never bowled a ball in their lives. They are keyboard combatants, Lee stated in conclusion.
