The popular Indian pacer Umesh Yadav recently received encouraging comments from Shri Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India, in addition to his expression of grief. The speedster recently experienced the death of his father. The father of Yadav passed away on February 22, 2023. According to reports, Tilak Yadav, Umesh’s father, has been ill for a considerable amount of time.
Incidentally, Yadav and his family received a heartfelt greeting from the honorable Prime Minister, Narendra Modi. Modi expressed his sadness at learning of his father’s tragic death in a powerful yet heartfelt speech. In addition, a father’s love and support is the firmest foundation for anyone’s existence.
Modi also recognized the value of his father’s sacrifice and commitment throughout his cricketing career. He also noted that Umesh’s father had supported him strongly in all major life decisions to that date.
Umesh Yadav expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Modi for his letter, saying, “This gesture means a lot to me and my family.”
It is noteworthy that Yadav, despite suffering a personal setback, stepped up to captain Team India’s pace attack against the Australians in the present Test series.

In the third Test, Umesh Yadav performed admirably with the ball. He had an amazing economy of 2.40 while taking 3 wickets in just 5 overs of bowling during the first innings. His victims included Todd Murphy, Mitchell Starc, and Cameron Green. It’s noteworthy that Starc’s stumps performed a cartwheel while he watched in astonishment.
However, the Indian team’s poor batting performance in the second innings prevented his bowling session from having much of an impact on the team. Team India ultimately lost the Test match to Australia by a score of 9 wickets. India now has a 2-1 advantage in the Border-Gavaskar Test series.
