As the UAE Bulls defeated the Aspin Stallions by 80 runs in the Final of the 2025 Abu Dhabi T10 at the Zayed Stadium, their explosive middle-order hitters, Tim David and Keiron Pollard, commented on their team’s excellent season. With 38 maximums, the Australian power hitter surpassed the record for most sixes in a season. Following the Final, he was named “Player of the Tournament.”
Tim David put on an incredible display, hitting 12 sixes and amassing an undefeated 98 runs in 30 balls against the Stallions.
“Today was my moment. You have to make the most of it for the team when you are in such a circumstance. It was essential that I was there and put the crew in the best possible position after dealing with a specific amount of deliveries. It was obviously incredibly satisfying as the batting began to gain momentum. “We wanted to score as many runs as we could,” Tim David remarked of his brilliant performance.
The Bulls finished strong with a four-game winning streak, which included their final group stage game and all three playoff games, following a sluggish start in which they won only two of their first six games. Legendary West Indies player and UAE Bulls captain Keiron Pollard gave his thoughts on the team’s performances.
We were on the verge of losing the competition at one point. But the team’s rallying performance was simply amazing. We have played a number of fierce and excellent cricket matches over the last few days, and we are now happy to be the Abu Dhabi T10 champions for this year,” Tim David stated.
Tim David clarified the difficulties of this particular format by saying that the slam bang format’s limited duration makes it much more difficult.
“The T10 format is incredibly difficult, even though it is wonderful and entertaining. It’s far more difficult to win when you see so many players push the boundaries and put on incredible performances. Players must start fast in this challenging format and work to get better as soon as they can. I really enjoy playing it, especially since some of the world’s top players come here to show off their abilities.
Muhammad Rohid, a 23-year-old left-arm fast from the United Arab Emirates, was also commended by Pollard for his contributions, saying, “Rohid consistently delivered crucial and timely wickets throughout the tournament.” Even though he had some difficult times and let up several runs, he eventually performed well in the games that counted.
