On the first day, Stumps scored 292 runs while the Bangla Tigers, who had chosen to bat first, lost four wickets. Ireland were bowled out for 265 in 88.3 overs, with wicketkeeper-batter Lorcan Tucker finishing undefeated at 75 off 171. Despite being removed for a four-ball duck in Ireland’s opening innings, Curtis Campher held his ground during the run-chase. Campher and the lower level players put up a valiant fight even though the Andy Balbirnie-led team ultimately lost the game. In the second innings, Taijul Islam and Hasan Murad each took four wickets.
