At the just finished mega event, Naidu thanked Shree Charani on his appearances.

A ceremony was held to congratulate the left-arm spinner. The young player talked about the experience of playing in such a high-stress competition and what it was like to be a part of India’s first 50-over World Cup victory, according to India Today.

On the subject of Shree Charani early years, she was raised in the Andhra Pradesh town of Kadapa amid economic hardship. Her talent and perseverance were key components in helping her advance through the ranks of local and state teams. Earlier in 2025, she played both white-ball and international cricket for India.

In the fourth installment of the Women’s Premier League, she is expected to play before representing India in the multi-format series against Australia the following year. Before the huge auction, Charani was released by the Delhi Capitals.
