PM Modi reveals skincare secret to Harleen Deol

On Wednesday, November 5, Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with the Indian Women’s Cricket Team at the Dr. DY Patil Sports Academy in Navi Mumbai after they won the historic Women’s World Cup 2025. The PM has a reputation for being amiable with athletes, and his conversations are frequently humorous and lighthearted.

Everyone in the room burst out laughing when Indian top-order batsman Harleen Deol queried the prime minister about his radiant skin in a humorous manner during the meet-and-greet. In a humble reply, PM Modi stated that he had never given it any thought. Later, on Thursday, November 6, the exchange was shown on video. Modi said that the love and blessings of his people are a great source of strength for him when all-rounder Sneh Rana joked that the PM’s glow is due to their love.

“It certainly is. It is a tremendous source of power. I have worked for the government for many years. Modi was quoted by NDTV Sports as saying, “In spite of everything, the blessings keep coming in and it does have an effect on you eventually.”

India won their first-ever ICC Women’s ODI World Cup in Navi Mumbai on Sunday after defeating South Africa. For Indian women’s cricket, it was a historic occasion as years of arduous practice and close calls paid off. The team became just the fourth team in history to win the ODI title after defeating the Proteas by 52 runs in the final.

“I can still clearly recall our 2017 meeting. We didn’t have a trophy at the time. However, we are quite honored to have brought the trophy here this time for something for which we have worked so hard for so many years. “We want to meet you and take pictures with you and your team as often as possible in the future,” Harmanpreet Kaur stated.

India faced Prime Minister Modi after losing to England by a slim margin of nine runs in their second World Cup final appearance in 2017.

“You did a fantastic job. Cricket is more than just a game in India. It has, in a sense, become the way of life for Indians. India feels happy when cricket is doing well, and the entire country feels horrible when cricket is going poorly, Modi stated.
