For me, it’s a really sentimental time. since it has been my dream since I was a young child. My goal has been to win the World Cup since I first began playing. “I don’t want to miss this opportunity if I get to lead my team,” the Moga native said in a video that the BCCI posted.
Harmanpreet played for India in the 2025 Women’s World Cup for the sixth time. In eight innings, she scored 260 runs at an average of 32.50 and a strike rate of 89.04. She had her maximum score of 89 in the semi-final match against Australia. In the end, Jemimah Rodrigues’ 167-run partnership proved to be the game-changing moment.
