The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has so far confirmed that the Indian women’s side that wins the World Cup will receive a financial award of INR 51 crore. The players, selectors, and support personnel will split the sum.

Reports state that although the precise distribution plan has not yet been decided, each player and head coach Amol Muzumdar are anticipated to receive between INR 2.5 and 3 crore, while the support staff members are anticipated to receive between INR 25 and 30 lakh each.

Regarding the match, Shafali Verma and Deepti Sharma led the India Women’s innings, which totaled 298 runs in 50 overs. Although Laura Wolvaardt bravely defended South Africa with a century, Deepti’s five-wicket haul helped India win their first-ever ICC Women’s World Cup as the hosts triumphed.
