Danni Wyatt-Hodge Calls It Right as Semi-Final Lineup Confirmed

Danni Wyatt-Hodge, the batter for the England Women’s team, has nailed the center-point with her prediction for the ICC Women’s World Cup 2025. Before the tournament started, she was asked to select her four semi-finalists for the prestigious quadrennial event, among other things, in a recent exclusive interview with CricTracker. Her selections were spot on.

After the India vs. New Zealand match in Navi Mumbai, Danni Wyatt-Hodge was confirmed to be correct in her assessment of the top four contenders: England, Australia, India, and South Africa. While South Africa and Australia were the first two teams to earn a spot in the penultimate matches, the Women in Blue were among the last to do so, securing their spot in fourth place.

Watch Danni Wyatt-Hodge’s precise prediction of the semi-finalists in the video below.

Danni Wyatt-Hodge is one of the 15 players in England’s squad.

She was unable to make an appearance in the starting lineup for any of England’s first six league phase games, though. In Sunday’s dead rubber match against New Zealand, which took place at the Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Stadium in Visakhapatnam on October 26, the batter finally got her chance.

As of October 25, 2025, Danni Wyatt-Hodge ODI record stands at 2038 runs at an average of 23.42 in 118 games.

In keeping with their current style of play, England defeated South Africa by a surprising 10-wicket margin with 215 balls remaining to start their campaign. They then won a low-scoring match against Bangladesh by four wickets. After defeating Sri Lanka by 89 runs, Pakistan was declared out.

One of England’s greatest victories of the competition came in their match versus India. It was a thrilling match, and they pulled off a heist in the end to win by four runs. The team captained by Nat Sciver-Brunt lost their opening match against tournament favorites Australia. Despite being in the lead at first, their bitter enemies won the match by a margin of six wickets.

At Guwahati’s Barsapara Cricket Stadium, England will play third-place South Africa in the competition’s opening semi-final. Wednesday, October 29 is the date of the game. On the following day, India will play Australia in the second semi-final in Navi Mumbai.
