Virat Kohli Lights Up India’s Practice in Perth

At the Optus Stadium in Perth, Indian star batsman Virat Kohli’s contagious enthusiasm and upbeat demeanor attracted notice ahead of the opening One-Day International of the three-match series against Australia. The 36-year-old was observed having a laid-back, lighthearted attitude as he and his colleagues completed their second practice day, laughing and smiling.

Following a lengthy seven-month hiatus from international cricket, Virat Kohli is prepared to play for India once more.

The former India captain appeared thrilled to be back in the national lineup after playing in the Champions Trophy earlier this year.

A video depicting the cricket player’s lighter side was uploaded to X by Star Sports. The video shows the veteran laughing and engaging in fun antics while relishing every moment of the session. Alongside Arshdeep Singh, KL Rahul, Axar Patel, Yashasvi Jaiswal, and Harshit Rana, he was observed laughing.

The contemporary legend, meantime, obliged a number of fans with pictures and signatures following the session. Virat Kohli will be keen to add to his impressive record of 1327 runs at an average of over 51 in 29 One-Day Internationals (ODIs) in Australia and assist India in winning a series there. Additionally, after a seven-month hiatus, Australian opener Travis Head discussed the return of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli to international cricket.

“They have been fantastic for India; I suppose Axar can say more about them than I can. However, they are two excellent players who are among the best in white-ball. Without a doubt, Virat is the best white-ball player. Head warned the journalists, “Rohit is probably not far behind.”
