For the 2025–2026 International League T20 (ILT20) season, Noor Ahmad has joined Desert Vipers. Prior to this, Noor played for the Sharjah Warriorz in the tournament’s first season in 2022–2023. Wanindu Hasaranga will not be available because of Sri Lankan national commitments, thus the left-arm spinner was signed to take his place.
Ten of the 14 games Noor has played in the format for Afghanistan have taken place in the United Arab Emirates. In the nation, he has taken 15 wickets at a remarkable economy rate of 6.84 and an average of 23.73. In the Vipers’ roster, he will be joined by his countrymen Faridoon Dawoodzai and Qais Ahmad. He gave off the impression that he knew the conditions well enough to perform well in the tournament.
