Yusuf Pathan, the renowned former Indian cricket player and co-founder of Cricket Academy of Pathans (CAP), presided over the inauguration. His attendance supported the academy’s commitment to maintaining the highest standards of player development and coaching.
On Monday, September 29, the Cricket Academy of Pathans (CAP) announced the spectacular opening of its 37th centre at Presidency School in Ajmer, Rajasthan. This marks a significant milestone as it opens its fifth facility in the state and furthers its dedication to developing the next generation of talent in the area.
Yusuf Pathan stated, “Our goal is to make sure that talent and potential are found and developed throughout the nation.”
He went on to say, “This new centre in Ajmer is a pivotal step in our ongoing mission to expand our footprint and meaningfully contribute to the future of the sport by providing young athletes with world-class training and mentorship.”
With a track record of successfully training more than 15,000 pupils and assisting more than 450 cricket players in reaching elite events, such as the Ranji Trophy and other prestigious domestic tournaments, CAP is firmly established as a major force in developing the sport’s future.
“Our decision to expand into Ajmer is a calculated step to develop undiscovered talent and give young athletes who haven’t had access to top-notch training a structured path. Our program, which combines specialised coaching with technology-driven diagnostic tools like StanceBeam to create a consistent flow of talent, is essential to this pathway. In addition, our recent collaboration with a top Indian NBFC has given several female players in our facilities yearly cricket scholarships, marking a critical turning point in the advancement of inclusivity in sports,” stated Harmeet Vasdev, CAP’s managing director.
With plans to open more than 25 new centres in tier 2 and tier 3 cities this year, CAP is dedicated to growing its presence even more. Hyderabad, Berhampur (Odisha), Madhubani (Bihar), Karim Nagar (Telangana), and Kolkata will soon see the opening of CAP centres.
