Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul Sweat it Out at BCCI CoE

KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma were recently observed using separate BCCI Centre of Excellence facilities. At the CoE in Bengaluru, both of the top Indian cricket players dedicated a significant amount of time to improving their fitness and skill sets.

In the first segment of the video, which was shared by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), Rohit and Rahul were shown practicing a few strength and agility exercises unique to cricket with knowledgeable fitness professionals. The pair was seen batting in the nets for the remainder of the footage.

Rohit Sharma concentrated on honing his white-ball batting techniques, while Rahul concentrated on batting against the red ball.

Rohit Sharma has already retired from Test matches (before to the 2025 red-ball tour of England) and Twenty20 Internationals (following the 2024 T20 World Cup). In contrast, Rahul actively participates in India’s plans for both Test matches and ODIs. Due to a combination of his patchy record and heightened competition, he was declared out of contention after making his final appearance for a T20I on November 22.

During the Men in Blue’s forthcoming trip of Australia, which will include three ODIs and five T20Is, Rohit Sharma and Rahul are anticipated to play for India. The Champions Trophy was the last time Rohit Sharma played for the country. Rahul, meantime, played a crucial role in the team captained by Shubman Gill that drew the 2025 Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy 2-2 in England.

India is presently participating in the Asia Cup in the United Arab Emirates. They are scheduled to play their bitter rivals, Pakistan, in the Super Four stage of the continental competition in Dubai on Sunday, September 21. They have won every group-stage encounter so far.
