Saim Ayub Out for Duck 3rd Time – Asia Cup 2025

The United Arab Emirates struck in the opening over of the match after choosing to field first, as Saim Ayub was removed on a silver duck in Match 10 of the Asia Cup 2025 between the UAE and Pakistan at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Wednesday, September 17.

When a short, wide offering came over him, the left-handed hitter slashed hard. Muhammad Rohid was at third man when the ball struck the outer edge of the willow and flew directly into his hands. Saim Ayub had to walk back after failing once more, even though the ball did not have the ability to take wickets.

In the most recent round of the continental event, Saim Ayub problems persisted.

He has been removed while facing his first ball twice prior to this match: once against Oman (LBW) and once against India (caught at point). In another crucial match against the hosts, the southpaw was unable to get his team off to a start.

In his subsequent over, Siddique also got rid of Sahibzada Farhan, Saim Ayub opening partner (5 off 12), leaving Pakistan at 9/2 after 2.4 overs. Farhan had little space because the ball was delivered on a hard length. Pulling his shot in the air, he raised his front leg slightly. In an attempt to send Farhan back to the pavilion, Muhammad Zohaib, with a deep square leg, latched onto a juggling attempt.
