At the Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi on September 11, Bangladeshi bowler Tanzim Hasan Sakib created an unforgettable moment in Match No. 3 of the Asia Cup 2025 against Hong Kong. Tanzim Hasan responded instantly to dismiss the right-hander in spectacular fashion after Babar Hayat hammered him for a six earlier in the over.
After winning the toss, Bangladesh captain Litton Das chose to field first, and Taskin Ahmed made the first breakthrough. Hayat lofted Tanzim Hasan for a maximum over long-on off the third ball, putting pressure on him as he entered his second over. But the contest was flipped on its head by the very next delivery.
The ball swung away late after being pitched around the middle stump, misleading Hayat as he moved down the track. He made a full-fledged attempt to work it to the leg side, but the ball smashed into middle and off. Hayat walked back disheartened, while Tanzim Hasan celebrated excitedly in front of him.

Mustafizur’s incredible catch while running from behind
In the 12th over, Mustafizur Rahman, a left-arm pacer, made a spectacular catch to get rid of Zeeshan Ali. The third ball of the over, which Tanzim delivered, nibbled back towards the leg stump. Zeeshan tried to back away and smash it down the ground, but he miscued the shot because of the extra bounce. From mid-wicket, Mustafizur ran back to his left and made a crisp catch over his shoulder after judging the ball flawlessly.
With the outstanding effort, Tanzim Hasan took his second wicket of the game.
