The Asia Cup 2025 match officials’ squad will be led by seasoned referees Richie Richardson and Andy Pycroft. The Asia Cup 2025 starts on Tuesday, September 9 at the Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi with a Group B match between Afghanistan and Hong Kong China.
The Asian Cricket Council has finalised the match officials’ appointments for the 12-match group stage which runs from September 9 to 19. Later, the list of match officials for the Super Four and event final will be revealed.
Asif Yaqoob (Pakistan), Faisal Afridi (Pakistan), Gazi Sohel (Bangladesh), Izatullah Safi (Afghanistan), Masudur Rahman (Bangladesh), Raveendra Wimalasiri (Sri Lanka), Rohan Pandit (India), Ruchira Palliyaguruge (Sri Lanka), Virender Sharma (India), and Ahmad Pakteen (Afghanistan) are among the umpires scheduled to oversee the competition.
