England’s T20I team has added star all-rounder Sam Curran for the next series against Ireland and South Africa. The English cricket player received a spot for both projects after dazzling everyone with his all-around skills at the just finished Hundred Men’s 2025, when he was a key member of the Oval Invincibles and helped them win.
Regarding his Hundred 2025 efforts, Sam Curran bowled at a thrifty economy rate of 8.55 and claimed 12 wickets in just nine games.
He also made a remarkable contribution with the bat, scoring 238 runs in eight innings with a strike-rate of 176.29, which is amazing to say the least. After a 10-month break, Sam Curran has returned to action for England, having last played during the 2024 West Indies trip.
Jacob Bethell will captain the English team for the first time during the Irish trip, while Harry Brook will lead the team against Proteas. Rehan Ahmed has also been added to the squads since he performed admirably in the just finished 100-ball tournament.
