Andy Tennant quits as Essex Women head coach

After less than a year in the position, head coach Andy Tennant has left Essex Women. After five victories in all competitions, Andy Tennant leaves the setup. After Essex’s successful run in the previous domestic season earned them a promotion, the club’s first completely professional women’s squad was granted Tier 1 status.

In the last season of the regional women’s structure, Andy Tennant former Scottish cricket player was unable to duplicate his Sunrisers triumph. This occurs despite the fact that many Sunrisers players are also at Essex. Essex is recovering from a turbulent few days. Jason Gallian, the chairperson of the Essex cricket committee, and Danni Warren, the director of women’s performance for Essex, will remain essential backroom personnel. In the upcoming off-season, Essex will start looking for a new head coach for the women’s team.
