Nepal begin two-week camp at BCCI Centre ahead of T20 World Cup Qualifiers

Nepal’s two-week T20 World Cup Qualifiers camp in Bengaluru used the BCCI Centre of Excellence’s cutting-edge facilities. On October 8, Asia–EAP Qualifiers for the 2026 20-over event begin.

The 36-second clip shared on BCCI’s X (previously Twitter) on Tuesday, August 12, showed the athletes sweating. Every aspect was considered, including skill, fitness, and match simulations.

In the first part of the video, head coach Stuart Law appeared to be updating the team on the training session’s agenda. A couple of players were observed stretching lightly and sprinting over cones.

In the second part of the movie, bowlers and batsmen worked hard in the blazing sun during open net sessions. Additionally, it featured closed-net sessions in which the batters were exposed to a variety of deliveries by use of a bowling machine.

The Scotland T20 Tri-Series in Glasgow in June was Nepal’s most recent cricket assignment.

After winning and losing two games apiece, they finished in second place. Nepal’s top run scorer and wicket-taker were Kushal Bhurtel (133 runs in four innings) and Sandeep Lamichhane (nine wickets in four innings).
