Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant has shown compassion by helping a youngster from a low-income family in the Bagalkot area of Karnataka pursue higher education.
Jyoti Kanabur Math, a native of Rakbai village in Bilagi taluk, received personal funding for his schooling from Pant, who has represented India in all competitions. Jyoti was accepted to the Bijapur Lingayat Education institution in Jamkhandi for a Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) program after earning an 85% in her Pre-University Course (PUC). Her family, however, found it difficult to pay the payments.
When her father, Teerthayya Kanabur Math, was unable to secure the 40,000 required, the family resorted to Anil, a well-wisher from the area, who got in touch with his Bengaluru cricketing network. When Pant finally received the message, he immediately sent the money straight to the college, allowing Jyoti to continue her studies without any hindrance.
Pant received an emotional letter of gratitude from Jyoti and the college management. In her letter, Jyoti conveyed her sincere appreciation and her hope to return the favour in the future.
The letter from Jyoti to Rishabh Pant
“Hello everyone, I’m Jyotika. Namaste. Roopa is my mother’s name, and Teertaiya is my father’s. I reside in the Jamkhandi village in Rabkavi. I earned my PUC from a Belagavi college and my SSLC from a Belagavi school. My parents called Anil, a resident of our area, to enquire about any scholarships or financial assistance available because I wanted to pursue a BCA but was having financial difficulties. After then, Anil got in touch with his Bangalore-based friend Akshay,” Jyoti wrote, as India Today cited.
“Akshay alerted Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant to my predicament. In order for me to pursue my BCA, Rishabh Pant transferred forty thousand dollars. I ask God to provide Rishabh Pant good health since I am so grateful to him. I also like to thank Akshay Naik sir and Anil Anna. I shall always remember their assistance. I’ll take full use of this chance to pursue my goal of becoming a software developer. Additionally, I would want to say: empower and save the girl kid. Finally, I’ll aid underprivileged kids after I work as a software developer,” she continued.
