On March 20, 2025, famous cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal filed for divorce from Dhanashree Verma, ending their nearly four-year marriage amicably. ‘Be Your Own Sugar Daddy’ was the T-shirt that Chahal was wearing during the court hearing when the judges granted the divorce. The cricket player recently disclosed his motivation for doing so.
The 35-year-old stated in a recent conversation that his costume assisted him in conveying a message and that he had no intention of creating any issue. He went on to say that he was motivated to wear that T-shirt no matter what by specific outside circumstances that preceded his last court appearance.
“I wanted to avoid creating any controversy. I only had one thing to convey, and I did that [through the T-shirt]. I wasn’t planning on answering, but something came from the other side. ‘Enough is enough, now I don’t care about anyone,’ I thought after something more happened. “I just wanted to get my point across; I didn’t hurt anyone,” he disclosed on the Figuring Out with Raj Shamani show.
