In his Instagram story, Kohli praised the bowling performances of Mohammed Siraj, Akash Deep, and Shubman Gill, who all contributed significantly to the victory with their heroics at bat.
India’s triumph at Edgbaston was outstanding. Fearless, they continued to push England to the limit. Effectively led by Shubhman in the field and at bat, with everyone putting on strong efforts. For the way they bowled on this pitch, Siraj and Akash deserve special recognition,” he added.
