All-rounder Shivam Dube of the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) is said to have bought residences in Mumbai for more than the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 mega-auction price of captain Rishabh Pant of the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). Pant became the most expensive player in the history of the league when he was signed by LSG for INR 27 crore.
According to Business Today, Dube has acquired two residences in Mumbai’s Anderi West. According to property registration papers examined by online real estate portal Square Yards, the combined value of these two units is INR 27.50 crore. This month, the 31-year-old cricket player registered the transactions.
These apartments are located in Oshiwara’s DLH Enclave on adjacent levels. The article claims that the apartment’s total carpet size is an astounding 4200 square feet. Additionally, there is a patio that is 3800 square feet in carpet.
Each of the two flats has three parking spots. With a registration fee of INR 30,000, the estimated total stamp duty is INR 1.65 crore.
What was Shivam Dube IPL 2025 performance?
After performing effectively for the team in the two seasons prior, Shivam Dube was signed by CSK for INR 12 crore ahead of the mega-auction. But in the tournament’s eighteenth edition, the southpaw blew hot and cold.
In 14 games, he amassed 357 runs at an average of 32.45. He did, however, have his lowest strike rate in an IPL season since 2021, with just 132.22. Throughout the season, Shivam Dube batted at various locations as CSK looked for the perfect combination in what ended up being a disappointing campaign for the five-time champions. For the first time in IPL history, they placed last in the points table.
In addition to being a consistent starter in the IPL, Dube has represented India in 35 T20Is and four ODIs. On February 2, 2025, he made his final appearance for his country in a Twenty20 International match against England at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium.
