IPL rising star Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who recently made news with the second-fastest century in league history, is good friends with Raj. While expressing his respect for his friend, Raj has also made analogies to the Indian legend Sachin Tendulkar.
In a district-level tournament, 13-year-old Ayan Raj, a batting prodigy from Muzaffarpur, Bihar, stunned the cricket community by blasting an undefeated 327* runs off just 134 balls. He dominated the match with a show of amazing stroke play, hitting 41 fours and 22 sixes while playing for Sanskriti Cricket Academy in a 30-over match. Of the runs he scored, 296 went through boundaries, yielding a strike rate of 220.89.
I always feel a certain way when I speak with Vaibhav bhai. When we were kids, we used to play together. According to NDTVsports, Raj stated, “He has made a big name for himself today, and I’m also following in his footsteps.”
“Test cricket is my vision; can you last five days?” Yograj Singh on Vaibhav Suryavanshi, a rising star
According to former Indian cricketer Yograj Singh, the country’s young cricket players, such as IPL breakthrough star Vaibhav Suryavanshi , have been advised to put fitness first for their own growth. While praising the younger generation for their accomplishments in shorter formats, he underlined that mastering the red-ball format is the key to becoming a great cricket player.
He emphasised that the ultimate test of a player’s abilities and what a cricketer is actually capable of accomplishing is surviving five days on the pitch.
“Test cricket is what I envision. Are you able to make it through five days? The true test is that. 50 overs is a reasonable amount. Twenty overs is a reasonable amount. These formats don’t apply to me. You should be able to play all three formats, though, because they are available. What causes you to struggle? because you are solely focused on 50 overs, T20, and the IPL. We can’t even play 50 overs today, Aj toh 50 overs bhi nahi khel sakte hum log. We are that manner,” Yograj remarked.
