Following his LBW decision in the Dindigul Dragons vs. IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) 2025 match on June 8, former Indian cricketer Ravichandran Ashwin was visibly agitated.
After arguing with the on-field umpire, Sai Kishore ejected the captain of the Dindigul Dragons. Ashwin thought the ball had pitched well outside the leg stump, which led to the argument. After scoring 18, Ashwin was seen furiously striking his pads with the bat as he made his way back to the pavilion. Due to the wide deliveries, Dindigul Dragons lost both of their reviews in the first over.
An on-air analyst stated, “Ashwin is saying ‘he has bowled this from over the stumps, ma’am,’ arguing his case that it was pitched well outside leg stump.”
