His final Twenty20 International match was a home match against Australia in December 2023. In the current T20 Mumbai 2025, Shreyas is in charge of the SoBo Mumbai Falcons.

To date, Shreyas Iyer has captained 100 Twenty20 games. Teams have won 61 games and lost 37 when he has been in charge. The right-handed batsman, meanwhile, had guided teams to 29 victories out of 42 games in List A cricket. As captain, he has only lost ten List A games.
